I would like to provide some feedback on my recent experience with one of your realtors, Juanita Smart. I relocated from New York City in 2012 and toyed with the idea of purchasing a home here in Maryland for some time before finally being introduced to Juanita. I was living in Silver Spring at the time and was unfamiliar with the surrounding areas as well as being somewhat of a newcomer to the world of real estate here in Maryland. Juanita had assisted my niece with the purchase of her home over 15 years ago and was adamant that we meet. I had worked with realtors before but was unprepared for Juanita.
Juanita was not only knowledgeable of the areas in and around Silver Spring but gave me invaluable advice and guided me through the entire process, making this experience unbelievably smooth and problem-free. I did not want to move too far from where I was currently living but wanted to be a little closer to my job in Columbia. Once we determined the possible zip codes, Juanita drove me through several neighborhoods before we even began looking at houses, to help me decide exactly where I wanted to focus my search. She pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of each area based on my criteria and answered my many questions professionally and knowledgeably, challenging me to think outside the box from time to time.
What impressed me most about Juanita is that, unlike other realtors I have worked with, she did not try to coerce me into purchasing something outside the benchmarks I had set for myself. I purchased my home in a remarkably short period of time and now, almost six months later, I am extremely happy with my decision.
I applaud Juanita for her competence with every stage of the process, her patience, her caring, her honesty and overall high degree of professionalism. I am pleased to recommend Juanita to my family, friends and co-workers.

I would like to provide a letter of recommendation for Juanita Smart, my realtor. When I decided I wanted to purchase a single family home in Prince George‘s County, I knew exactly what features I absolutely had to have and how much I wanted to spend. I spoke with several realtors, but when I was introduced to Mrs. Juanita Smart, I knew that she was the right realtor for me. She has a wealth of knowledge in real estate, intimately familiar with the area I was interested in, very professional, honest and caring.
The first week we went out looking for homes, Mrs. Smart understood that I didn't know what I was asking her for. Instead of her informing me that I could not afford what I said I wanted, she set out to find homes that met my requirements. After seeing some of the prices for resale homes that I associated with my "picture perfect" home, I began to see the light.
Mrs. Smart provided me several viable options, a smaller home, town home, and/or other geographical locations to broaden my range of possibilities. She was patient and very resourceful and for that I will always be grateful. To my delight, within a little over a month, Mrs. Smart found my "perfect home." Amazingly, it was in my price range, met all my original requirements, and it came with an added bonus
- it was under construction. Thus, I was able to watch the construction of my new home and select alJ the finishings. Through the entire process, I had numerous questions for which Mrs. Smart had answers, making my purchase pleasant and stress-free. How special was that!
Due to my remarkable experience with Mrs. Smart, I have proudly recommended her services to family, friends and colleagues for the sale or purchase of their home. To date, four of my friends have utilized her services and are now proud homeowners. Now there are five of us out here singing her praises and referring her services.

It's been over two decades since I first made your acquaintance. In 1997 with the prospect of being first time homebuyers, my wife and I confronted a world unknown. There were so many things to consider and so much information available that it was difficult to discern how to identify some of our goals.
Fortunately, we found you. You helped us to gain confidence and proved a trustworthy guide throughout the entire process. You educated us on how to use information to make decisions about location, purchase price, finding a lender, investment purchasing and much more. Your expertise and sensitivity to our needs enabled us to successfully accomplish our goals in the purchase of a new home.
When it came time to sell my grandmothers property in 1998, the task was daunting. However, you helped me stay focus and encouraged me at difficult time when I most needed it.
In 2003 you helped me with the sale of my fathers property. You made helpful recommendations that saved me thousands in renovations.
In 2005 when the market was at its peak you helped me with the sale of my mothers property which enabled her to use profits from the sale to retire existing debt.
Most recently in 2010 you helped us with selling our first home and purchasing a new one. Then market was depressed and the lack of competition made borrowing difficult. I write this letter to let anyone who is in the business looking to buy, sell or rent to consider Ms. Juanita Smart of ReMax.
Juanita is my realtor of choice. Juanita assisted me with the purchase of my first home in 2001. After outgrowing my townhome, I already knew who I was going to contact with the purchase of a single family home in 2015. This is not to say, I did not have a list of realtors in my back pocket because I do. I have many friends who are realtors and a cousin, but knowing the professional Juanita is and how she takes her trade seriously, I had no doubts who I was going to use for my next purchase.
As they say, fortune is in the follow-up. Since 2001, Juanita came over within days to assist my townhome and recommend upgrades and cosmetic repairs to be done to prepare my townhome for rent. She even provided the names of a few handymen who could do the work at economical prices. She shared local listings and connected me with lenders who would be able to assess my financial portfolio and provide me with the best rates. At least once a week she was providing me and my husband with listings and comps and volunteering to work around our schedule to view homes. It didn't matter what time of day i was emailing or texting Juanita, she always responded by that following morning. At times, it felt like we were her only clients because of the personalized attention she gave us!
Juanita assisted us with the purchase of a short sale home. In case you didn't know, that can be a long and arduous process but because of the relationship Juanita had with the sellers agent, it turned a protracted sale into one that occurred in less than 3 months. We go more that what we were initially looking for at a great price. I doubt we would have gotten our 5-bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 garage home at the price we did had it not been for Juanita and her relationship with the sellers agent.
In terms of my townhouse rental, Juanita priced it right and we got an offer the next day after listing it. She handled the background screening of the tenant and three months later, knock on wood, we have had no issues with our tenant. Once again, Juanita did her job right!!
Juanita's professionalism, judgment and pleasant demeanor is why she is my #1 realtor. You will not go wrong choosing her.
